Skolar Bot's AI Tutor offers 24/7 doubt solving with voice and OCR input, so a student can type a question, speak it, or photograph a problem from their textbook and get a worked explanation. It is built around the student — closer to home tuition than to school software.
- Our ERP plan already includes AI. Why is AI Tutor priced separately?
- They serve different people. The AI included in the ERP plan is for your teachers — AI-assisted teaching through the LMS (and on Smart Board, where that add-on is enabled), AI checking of assignments teachers set, and automatic timetable generation. AI Tutor is for your students: a personal tutor each child can use around the clock. One reduces staff workload; the other is a learning product per student, which is why it is billed and recovered separately.
- Does the AI Tutor answer from our own syllabus or from the open internet?
- It uses RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) over your syllabus, so answers are grounded in the material your school actually teaches rather than generic web content. That keeps explanations aligned to your board, your textbooks and the method your teachers use, which is the main reason schools reject general-purpose chatbots.
