How is student attendance marked in Skolar Bot?

Teachers mark attendance against the class roster from any device in a few taps, or it is captured automatically through biometric or RFID integration where installed. Because attendance writes to the same student record as fees and results, absence patterns show up in reports without a separate register.

Are parents notified when a student is absent?

Yes. Absence alerts go to the parent through the alert management module on the day, rather than surfacing weeks later on a report card. For schools this is often the clearest safety benefit of moving off paper registers.

Does it support subject-wise or period-wise attendance?

Yes. Attendance can be taken per period against the timetable as well as once daily, which senior secondary schools and coaching institutes need to track subject-level participation and enforce minimum attendance requirements.

Can we track staff attendance in the same system?

Yes, through the employee and HR management modules, including biometric integration and leave management. Staff attendance feeds leave balances and payroll inputs from the same record, instead of being maintained in a parallel register.
